Charlotte is a 23 year old indie songstress hailing from Berkshire but currently residing in Cornwall. Drawing inspiration from favourites such as Lucy Rose, Daughter and Bon Iver, Charlotte combines sensitive yet powerful vocals with intricate guitar lines to create a melancholic soundscape with the support of her band, described as 'graceful, atmospheric indie'.
For Charlotte, writing is a very organic process, where crafting raw emotion into the ebbing and flowing structure of song forms the foundation for poignant, poetic lyrics. Often based on personal experience and observations of those close to her, Charlotte’s songs explore themes of love, loss and growing older, expressed delicately through metaphor.
2019 saw Charlotte make waves in the South West, supporting the likes of Nathan Ball and Ferris and Sylvester, as well as scheduled appearances at Boardmasters, Wild Paths Festival and Liverpool sound City. Her most recent single "Mother" was tipped as BBC Introducing's Track of the Week. Much writing has been happening since the COVID Lockdown, expect new music from Charlotte very soon.
